Nadia's story - ''I've lost 80 pounds!''

Today, we take a look at Nadia LeBreton, who tells us about her journey and how YWWL has transformed her life.

Hello, my name is Nadia Lebreton and I'm 44 years old. I shared my story with the YWWL community some time ago. I've been approached to share it again and it will be a little different from the first time because I'm at a different point in my journey.

The first time I joined was probably in 2017 for a few months, as at that time my only goal was to lose weight before my wedding. I lost the weight I wanted to lose so I cancelled my membership thinking I had all the tools and had it all figured out and was good to go. But I soon realized that I was wrong and I quickly regained the weight I had lost and even more.

I joined in 2021 with a different approach and it was from there that my journey took a new direction that has had the biggest impact on my life. This time, I really took the time to look at the content and stay connected. In the beginning, what helped me a lot was to watch at least one video a day, connect to the community on facebook, take the time to reflect and write down my intentions. What I retained most from the content was consistency, not giving up, calorie deficit, and above all being "fully aware and mindful" with my thoughts, emotions and actions. This is the fuel that feeds my fire!

Over the last few years, YWWL & Wellness has evolved in a direction that inspires me greatly. I've taken training courses, read books and seen lots of self-improvement videos, and I have to say that YWWL is the perfect recipe for me. I've found myself and at the same time I've found a community of extraordinary human beings.

Before YWWL, I had become the "Nadia" who had no energy, who felt bad about herself, who no longer felt like going out, who looked in the mirror and saw only her faults, who was disconnected from herself. Since I joined, little by little my self-confidence has resurfaced, my energy has returned in full force and now when I look in the mirror instead of seeing flaws, I see myself, the person I really am. The things I used to see as flaws have become the traces of the things that made me strong and the person I am today, and I'm proud and grateful of that.

As a bonus, I've lost about 80 pounds! I know that my journey isn't over and that I still have many things to learn but knowing that I'm accompanied by the beautiful YWWL team of real, authentic women, and that they're evolving at the same time makes things very interesting and fascinating. As a character in one of my favorite movies said, "WE SHOULD CONCERN OURSELVES NOT SO MUCH WITH THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS,BUT WITH THE HAPPINESS OF PURSUIT. "

Sometimes you have to be patient and give yourself time but you deserve it and you owe it to yourself, you must never give up despite the ups and downs, because in the end it's so worth it, you're worth it!

Nadia
