Ok I'm trying to think back to when my weight loss journey started and it's to hard to pin point a date as it feels like I have always been on some type of weight loss journey ever since I graduated high school.
I have done everything diet on this planet. You name it, I have done it !! If I had to pin point a specific time that stands out, it would have to be December 2019. I weighed the heaviest I ever had at 198 and I was determined not to reach the 200 pound mark.
So January 1st yes "new year new me", I joined Weight Watchers for the 4th time. I lost 20 pounds from January to June by doing that but then summer hit and I didn't feel like counting points at the camp site.
I wanted more spontaneity for my summertime lifestyle. I saw a TikTok one day that summer and immediately was attracted to Alicia's and Josée's personality and what they said just made sense to me.
I wasn't a creeper as I immediately signed up after seeing that ONE TikTok and I have been a member ever since. From July 2020 to May 2023, I lost 30 pounds with YWWL bringing my weight loss to a total for 50 pounds and I have been successful with keeping it off.
For the last year I also been taking care of my gut health and making that a priority as well and between doing both that and YWWL I have never felt better and get told all the time that I'm aging backwards.
I am definitely more calorie aware since joining the program and I have way less noise.
I press play everyday and take something from every session.
My favourite way to listen to the sessions is while i walk or workout at the gym.
I am a YWWL lifer and will be forever thankful for this amazing program and all these amazing women that make it all happen.
